He had many careers throughout his life: Law enforcement, coal mining, trucking, ranching, shoeing horses, and many other jobs. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and playing instruments.

Age 92 went home to be with her heavenly Father on October 20, 2022. Rose was born on May 23, 1930, in Burro Canon to Eloiza Trujillo and Ursinio Serna. Rose was the oldest of 10 children.
