Teen girl feels pressure from society to have sex

DEAR ABBY: I’m a teenage girl who has always heard and seen on TV and in movies that there’s pressure from guys to have sex. That may be true, but I feel there is also pressure from society. I never thought I would feel like that when I got to high school, but now I do. It hurts, and I am writing this for all the girls who feel the same way I do about it. I have been struggling with it for a few days, and it is messing with me a lot.

Boebert elected to Republican policy committee

Congresswoman Lauren Boebert was elected by her colleagues to serve on the Republican Policy Committee for the 118th Congress. Congresswoman Boebert will serve as the representative for the 10th Region which includes Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. The Committee on Policy serves as an advisory group for House Republican Conference and allows committee members to discuss legislative proposals and report suggestions for Republican action and policy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet joined Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), and U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-N.C.), in releasing a discussion draft including policies aimed at improving mental health parity in Medicare and Medicaid and helping to put access to mental health and behavioral health services on par with physical health care.

Heinrich, colleagues call for Postal Service to ramp up efforts to electrify mail delivery fleet

Frisch shares thoughts heading into recount

I want to share an update following Wednesday’s Secretary of State announcement of a mandatory recount. Since the results were so close, we have been expecting this as a mandatory part of Colorado’s voting process. The recount is one of the measures that protects and helps ensure the sanctity of Colorado elections and the decision to conduct a recount is (rightfully so) not influenced by any campaign or candidate. I have said from the beginning that I will honor the certified results of the Colorado Secretary of State, and Coloradans deserve to have this legally mandated process take place.
