Farmer boys basketball notches five straight wins

The Hoehne Farmers boys’ basketball team has now won five games in a row after two Santa Fe League wins over John Mall (59-45) and Fowler (44-37) and a non-league road win over Del Norte (43-40). “We had three tough road games last week, long trips to Fowler and Del Norte were games that our team showed a lot of heart in,” said Jesse Price, Hoehne Farmers head basketball coach.

Miner wrestlers continue to shine, place at Valley Tourney

The Valley Tournament, held in Center, is one of the biggest wrestling tournaments in Colorado. This month, the Miner wrestling team finished in eighth place at the tourney — with four Miner wrestlers finishing in the top five individually — including junior Eddie Bowman at 132lbs., who finished in first place, and senior Jake Armijo who finished a solid second at 215lbs.
