The family of Bill Barrett would like to thank everyone for their support and condolences following the tragic loss of our husband and father. Bill was loved by many in the area and befriended the most random people and that love, and friendship will be missed by all. Sharon, Michael & Danny Michele Smith, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday January 01, 2023. Celebration of Life services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 26, 2023 at Fisher’s Peak Church, 10377 Santa Fe Trail in Trinidad with Pastor Vondell Koontz officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Michele was born on October 31, 1956 in Dallas, to Clyde and Rose Barron. Michele worked as an insurance agent and a consultant for 20 years and was the owner and manager of the Picketwire Lodge and Store in Stonewall, Colorado for over 21 years. Michele was an active member of Prairie Bible Church and a Mentor and leader of the Awana Club at Fisher’s Peak Community Church, while living in Trinidad, Colorado. Michele was devoted to raising her son, Caleb. She was a loving and caring mother, who was always there for her son. She was loved by many and will be missed. Michele was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Steve Beattie; her second husband, Dallas Smith; one brother, Russell Barron and one nephew, Jason Carter.
