Clayton James Shelden born in Glenwood Springs, CO, to Jim E. and Beverly Shelden, Feb. 27, 1986, one minute before his twin, went to Heaven Nov. 17, 2022, in Lubbock, TX from a traffic accident.
A traveling soulʼs journey was cut short November 17 when 36 Clayton perished in an accident and was called back home. With a life full of spirit and adventure, Clayton embodied one of his favorite mantras, “free and easy down the road I go” with travels to places such as Alaska, California, Arizona, and more, most often on foot. With a unique view of life Clayton was most comfortable when going against the grain. As the first to speak out and stand up against wrongdoing, he was never afraid to be himself. He possessed a compassionate and kind heart, shining like a beacon in a world that often be cold and lonely… We love you.
