On July 11, 2022, Debra Ann Ortiz age 62 of Denver passed away unexpectedly.

Debra was born in Trinidad, Colorado on April 10 1960 to Elizabeth Arlene and Ernest Gutierrez.

She had many careers during her life, some of her favorite jobs were cosmetology, nursing, and caring for children.

Debra raised two children Michael and Angel.

In February of 1998, she married Aaron Ortiz and they have raised many animal babies she loved dearly.

Debra was a very giving person and spent her time helping and thinking of others. She also enjoyed going to the movies.

Debra is survived by her parents Elizabeth and Ernest Gutierrez of Trinidad, Co; brothers Joseph Gutierrez of Trinidad, CO, and Kurt (Alisa) Gutierrez of Denver, CO; her husband of 24 years Aaron Ortiz; her children Michael (Stephanie) Belarde of Fort Collins, Co, and Angel ( Derrick) Hall of Michigan; and additionally 9 grandchildren, including Tyler, Ahlix, Jaidyn, Avary, Sadie, Kendall, Blakely, Garrett, and Timothy.

Debra has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that will also miss her.

All services will be July 21, 2022.

Visitation: 10 am-12 pm at the Comi Chapel Funeral Services at Holy

Trinity Church

Rosary at 12:30 pm Mass at 1 pm

Mass at 1 pm

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
