Teadora “Dora” Montoya Corral, 87, died from natural causes on January 15th, 2023 at home. She was born on April 1st, 1935 in Manuelitas, NM. Daughter of Antonio Montoya and Eufelia (Garcia) Montoya.

Dora graduated from Hoehne High School and Adams State College with a Bachelor’s in the Arts, Cum Laude in 1974. Dora married Daudileo “Leo” Corral on January 15th, 1955. Dora was active in the arts in Trinidad, an accomplished quilter and seamstress while maintaining a beautiful garden full of flowers and roses.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Casemiro Montoya and her husband Leo Corral. Surviving relatives include her children Bernadette (Frank) Mattorano, Jose (Jennifer) Corral, Anthony (Lilian) Corral. Grandchildren include Nicholas Mattorano, Miranda McCoy, Julie Mattorano, Anthony Jr. Corral, Eva Kaska, Jose Corral. 10 great-grandchildren. Her sister Mary Leal and family. Public viewing and Rosary are Monday January 23rd, 2023 starting at 3pm and the rosary at 7pm located at Comi Funeral Home.

Funeral services are on January 24th, 2023 at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The burial will be at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery after the services. A reception will be held at Hoehne Community Center at 12:00pm.

The Paul bearers will be Ronnie Corral, Joshua Montoya, Carson Hall, Tyler Mattorano, Ethan Hall, and Avery Lopez.
