More than 1,000 cyclist, representing 40 states and 11 countries, descended on Trinidad last weekend for the fourth annual Rad Dirt Fest.
The event, owned by health brand Life Time, lets riders of varying abilities compete within view of the Spanish Peaks at distances of 40, 70 and 110 miles.
“It was a spectacular Rad Dirt Fest today, from all angles,” said Tamira Jenlink, race director for the Rad Dirt Fest. “The weather was perfect, the riders were amazing, and as always, the community is incredible. We look forward to seeing welcoming everyone back to Trinidad next year again!”
New this year, the Life Time Rad Dirt Fest served as a qualifying event for the 2025 edition of Life Time UNBOUND Gravel. Finishers of the 70- and 110-mile Rad Dirt Fest events were eligible to earn an entry and bypass the lottery of the popular Kansas race.
Festivities kicked off Friday afternoon with an expo and three shake-out rides to help cyclists prepare for the day ahead. Following finish line festivities and awards ceremonies on Saturday, athletes were invited to an after-party bar crawl at four local Trinidad businesses to toast to the accomplishments of the day.
In addition to The Rad Dirt Fest, Life Time owns and produces nearly 30 athletic events in iconic locations across the country.
