It is with deep sorrow that the family of Frances A. Gonzales announces her passing on the evening of December 24, 2022, at the age of 77. She passed away surrounded by family in the comfort of her home. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, and many other family members. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in 2016, parents Faye and Manuel Lucero, and her brother Manuel ‘Sonny’ Lucero. She is survived by daughters Denise Gonzales, Lisa Rotondo, and Cindy Shew (husband Nick Shew); six grandchildren, Joey Abeyta (wife Ashley), Chelsea Rotondo, Mariah Espinoza, Alyssa Ayala (husband Roberto), Dante Shew, and Isabella Shew; five greatg randchildren, Lyniah Retana, Ariya Ayala, Josiah Retana, Ensley Abeyta, and Alira Ayala; brothers Richard Lucero (wife Bernice) and Ronald Lucero. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother. She was the best woman anyone could have asked for to fulfill any and every one of these roles. She will be greatly missed. Frances had an amazingly creative and artistic side that many may not have known. She was also a very private woman, so as per her wishes, no services will be held.
