Patti L. Ringo was called home to be with God and her beloved husband Nick Jr. on February 16, 2023. She was born in Aguilar, CO to the union of Katherine (Baudino) and Joseph Fausone on June 3, 1930. Patti attended Aguilar High School where she graduated class Valedictorian in 1948. Following graduation she began a career in banking for 10 years at Trinidad National Bank. On July 14, 1956 she was united in holy matrimony with Nick Ringo Jr. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Aguilar, CO. In 1959 they began operation of Ringo’s Super Trading Post in Segundo, CO which continues to faithfully serve the community. She was a charter member of Court Our Lady of Mt. Caramel #1566, Catholic Daughters of America where she held numerous offices. She was a member of Court Our Lady of Fatima in Aguilar.
As a member of St. Ignatius Church in Segundo, she served 25 years on the parish council as secretary and treasurer. She also was a Eucharistic Minister for several years. She is survived to cherish her loving memory by her children, son Garry (Laura) Ringo, Trinidad, CO; daughters Nicoleen (Kenneth) Maenpa, Thornton, CO; Joleen (Scott) Monarco, La Junta, CO; Grandchildren (pride & joy) Michelle (Clint) Castleberry Pueblo, CO; Kayela (Brody) White, La Junta, CO; Nicolas Ringo, Aguilar, CO; Scottie (Courtney) Monarco, Swink, CO; Terra Ringo, Chicago, IL; Jianna Maenpa, Northglen, CO; Jakob Maenpa, Thornton, CO; Great Grandchildren Keeston, Lando and Cree White; Vinny and Lola Monarco; Camden and Maxton Castleberry. Godchildren Gerald Baudino, Gaylene Finney, Debbie Warner, Susan Beatrice, and Mark Brogado.
Patti was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, parents Katherine and Joseph, mother-inlaw and father-in-law Lucy and Nick Ringo Sr., grandmother Teresa Baudino, brother Ralph Fausone, granddaughter Holly Ringo, and numerous family members. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Nana. Her greatest love and legacy is her family. She loved watching them grow and acknowledged their life achievements. She taught them to be strong through adversity and to stay close to the Lord. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23rd, 2023 from 3-6 PM at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 24th, 2023, at Holy Trinity Church, with Rosary at Noon followed by the Funeral Mass at 1 PM.
Internment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be: grandchildren and great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be: Nicolas Ringo, Scottie Monarco, Jakob Maenpa, Brody White, Scott Monarco, and Kenneth Maenpa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sangre De Cristo Hospice or Holy Trinity Catholic Church Trinidad.
