Monday, March 23, 1992 was a beautiful, early spring morning. The daffodils were just beginning to peek out of the still cold earth. The sun was a little warmer. The days were a little longer and John Patrick would be turning one month old in one more week. You had only seen and held him one time. Our world, as we knew it, was about to be changed forever.
Given your love of God and your unconditional faith, we knew that because you were gone from us, you were present with Him. It must have been glorious for you and, consequently we were at peace. Still, your absence was and is felt everywhere.
You have missed so much…holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and yes, even deaths. How wonderful it must be celebrating all of those events with loved ones and The Most High. John Patrick has just turned 30 and we know you are very proud of him. Watch over him and keep him safe.
We wanted to just take a moment to let you know that you are in our hearts and thoughts every day. We miss you and love you as much as ever, but know we will all be together in God’s time. You are never forgotten. Your strength, courage, drive, and fierceness live on in all of us.
Thank you for teaching us how to be all of those things and so much more. Because of them, we carry you with us at all times.
Be at peace, Mom, as we are all at peace here. Until we meet again, we remain forever yours.
Sadly missed & forever loved by, Ken & Jeanenne John, Kathy, & JP Gina & Dante
