Ricardo Manuel Gonzales “Hairdo” Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born May 30, 1943, to Tomasita (Gonzales) Ronquillo and Daniel Barela in Branson, Colorado. Ricardo was a resident of Colorado. He had many careers throughout his life: Law enforcement, coal mining, trucking, ranching, shoeing horses, and many other jobs. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and playing instruments.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents; mother Tomasita Ronquillo, father Dan Barela, stepfather Carmen Ronquillo, siblings; Lorraine Ronquillo, Lilly Garcia, Juanita Robertson, Leroy (Camelita) Gonzales and children; Gary Gonzales and Margaret Gonzales He is survived by his wife; Anna Gonzales, children; Richard (Rhonda) Gonzales, Kayla (Sherrie) Gonzales, Jolene (Ron) Baca, Josephine Martinez, Theresa Martinez, Audrey (Mike) Bartch, Joey (Valorie) Gonzales, Sam (Daisy) Gonzales, grandchildren Matt (Corey) Gonzales, Ritchie Gonzales, Esperanza Martinez, Brandie Lynn Martinez, Santiago Martinez, Seth Baca, Caylen Baca, Zyon Baca, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings; Pauline Ronquillo, Carmen (Annie) Ronquillo, Thomas Ronquillo, Mercedes (Tim) Ronquillo, Trinidad (Guadeloupe ) Ronquillo, Joe Ronquillo, Gilbert (Josephine) Ronquillo and numerous nephews and nieces.

Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Knights of Columbus #1072, 205 S Commercial Street, Trinidad, CO 81082.
