Rudolph, Rudy “Hoover” Martinez born in Aguilar CO was Preceded in death by: Mother Josephine Romero Father Severo Martinez, Siblings: Jimmy Romero, Luther Romero, Joe Romero, Johnny Romero, Rosemarie Mueller, and Daughter Gwen Martinez. He is survived by beloved wife Elsie Martinez. Children Robert Gomez, Loretta Garcia (Jose), Valerie Martinez, Gerri Martinez (Dennis), Brenda Martinez Rodriguez (John), Jason Gomez, Grandchildren: Brandon Gomez, Brandi Montano, Briana Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez. Great grandchild Jenna Gomez and special companion Charlie as well as many extended family and friends.

Rudy worked at the CF&I retiring after 40 years. He shared an honest, loving and trusting relationship with his wife of 64 years. He loved his family, world traveling, camping, binge watching television with mom and the Broncos. His grandchildren were the light of his life as he was to them. Rudy helped to raise all of his grandchildren. He was loved and respected by many. No more pain and suffering as he will rest in paradise.

Cremation has taken place and Celebration of life will be held at Comi Funeral home in Trinidad CO January 5, 2023 @ 1:00 pm.
