Sophie Sanchez passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 11, 2022, at the age of 94. Sophie was born on September 29, 1927 in Starkville, Colorado.

Leaving home at a young age determined to start life. Marrying the Love of her life Tony Sanchez on January 20, 1957 at Holy Trinity Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Tony Sanchez, parents Pedro and Dolores Lovato, brothers Patricio, and sisters Aurora, Daisy, and Angie. Sophie Is survived by her 7 children. Sonsʼ Allen Sanchez, Pete Sanchez, Charlie Sanchez. Daughters; Connie Sisneros, Lillian (Anthony) Corral, Theresa (Mandrick) Holifield and Nettie Sanchez. Grandkids: Aly, Matthew, Andy Jo, Loretta, Andy, Josh, Roberta, Anthony Victor, Amanda, Deanna, Mandrick Jr, Billy and Eric. And many nieces and nephews and Great Grandkids. You brought a lot of life into this world with your seven kids, many grandkids, great grandkids and great great-grandkids. Known for your love of Spanish music which was played day and night and always a word search puzzle nearby. “ You will be missed forever and always. The beautiful moments you shared with us will never be forgotten.

Funeral Services will be Friday, April 29, 2022 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rosary at 1pm followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm.

Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
