Authorities seize over 1,400 fentanyl pills, meth, firearms, more, from La Junta house

On Aug. 30, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations, CBI, announced that they had, alongside the La Junta Police Department, discovered around 143 grams of fentanyl, about 1,430 pills, following a search warrant at a La Junta house on Aug. 29, after receiving intelligence and leads linking the residence to criminal activity.

Court dates set for La Junta couple accused of abusing baby, reportedly causing skull fractures, malnourishment   

The Colorado Judicial Branch’s dockets revealed upcoming court dates, including hearings, for the La Junta couple who allegedly left a baby with skull fractures and malnourished, who were arrested and quickly released around three days later after an Otero County judge reportedly gave them a cashless bond.
