A group of dedicated volunteers showed up at the Trinidad History Museum under beautiful blue skies on Saturday to help clean and refresh the xeriscape garden in front of the historic adobe Baca House. Their efforts honored the memory of the late Jennifer Laidig, a beloved local gardener and RN who originated this garden before she passed at age 49 in 2024.Nancy Ellis / The Chronicle-News
